Originally founded by creators Steven Myles and Gary Murphy in 2002, eXistanz Nightclub was South Africa's longest running, permanent EBM and Industrial music venue. eXistanz has been instrumental to supporting the music scene, and actively promoted South Africa's cyber scene through CD & band promotions, as well as a self funded DJ tour throughout each major city in South Africa. eXistanz has collaborated with South African labels in bringing out Assemblage 23 and VNV Nation to our shores, and has also hosted sets from DJs such as Sascha Pniok (ex-Combichrist/ex-TH Industry), Bjoern Petersen (Fortification 55/Combichrist), Ronan Harris, and Mark Jackson. Earlier last year eXistanz was opened in Ireland, by original co founder Gary Murphy. The club was a huge success and the cyber scene was well accepted. Gary is now embarking on deliveringhis next stage of the EXISTANZ experience with SOMAN live in Ireland.
