CyBozz "Horrorscope"
Releases date 7th December 2010 (as download) / Ionium Records

CyBozz is a Berlin-based Electro/Industrial band, founded by Andreas Steckmann (eg. Manipulation). The name already suggests harsh sounding material. The Cybozz sound is a mixture of rhythmical sequences and noise elements, atmospheric sounds and strange samples, occasionally supported by distorted vocals. The musical range covers “to-the-floor” electro-songs and harsh, rhythmical industrial music. Cybozz members are musicians and dancers mainly from the local scene in Berlin: Andreas Steckmann (Programming, Performance), Monika (Perfomance), Jörg Key Hilsbeck (Machines) and Frank Glaßl (Drums). Cybozz songs have already been released on 3 electronic-music compilations, the 1. Fear Section Sampler (2003) featured their version of Human League’s “Being Boiled”, the song “Drug” appeared on a limited Solitary Experiments birthday sampler and “Geburt einer Nation” has recently been released on the “Chrom de la Chrom II” compilation.

Daybehavior "It's a Game"
Releases date 3rd December 2010 / Graplur

The debut album ":Adored" (-96) was released in 15 countries and aroused a lot of attention and got lot of airplay. As their record company later went bankrupt the follow-up album wasn’t released until eight years later, then by the American label A Different Drum. Daybehavior has written film music, had several songs featured in the popular Dance Dance Revolution games, made remixes and acquired fans worldwide. Now the Swedish trio is back with the first single taken from their forthcoming third album, to be released early 2011. This time the band has chosen to do it all by themselves, without being under control or having obligations to record companies. Their music has always been dominated by strong melodies with Paulinda Crescentini’s voice, so frail and breathy in focus. Exciting beats and cinematic soundscapes are some more characteristics to be recognized of the Daybehavior sound. It’s a Game is a catchy up-tempo pop-song, already picked up by BBC Radio in the UK.

Adversus "DER ZEIT ABHANDEN"
Releases date 3rd December 2010 / Sonorium

The German black romantic metal band ADVERSUS is back with a new concept album. The new opus 'Der Zeit abhanden' ('Lost in time') with the sub-title 'Elf Ma¨rchen fu¨r Entflohene' ('Eleven stories for escapees') is released as a bundle of CD and book in early December 2010. The bundle brings the band's fanbase what they have been waiting for: a new piece of conceptual art by ADVERSUS. On the musical side, mastermind Rosendorn and the current ADVERSUS musicians show their complete band width on two orchestral intro/outro composings and eleven brute-romantic songs in best ADVERSUS-manner. Sophisticated bombastic orchestral composition alternate with dark and brutal metal attacks, being disrupted by folky-medieval strings and pipes and complexe synth-sequences. Throning over this arrangements there comes the opera voice of female singer Aysel, contrasted by Rosendorns weird hard shoutings. During the almost 78 minutes of playing time ADVERSUS sound more accessible, but also harder and more pushing in comparison with their first albums. A major reason for that is the fat real drumset played by Thomas Eifert, who replaces the programmed beats of the early ADVERSUS works. After the 2007 CD 'Laya', that has been a collection of more slow calm and acoustic tunes, the new album now turns back to the power and the whole impressing variety of stylistic elements known from the first two ADVERSUS full time albums 'Winter, so unsagbar Winter...' (2003) and 'Einer Nacht Gewesenes' (2005). CD and book (in German language) together make a dark-romantic work of art, that has rarely been seen before. Eleven short-stories matching the lyrics of the eleven main songs on the CD, written by Rosendorn himself, form a thrilling and fascinating circle of tales on more than 160 pages. Rosendorn abducts the reader into a curious scary twilight zone between reality and somewhere else, where average people are facing living houses, children in a cellar, Kellerkindern, maids with grave candles, immortal warriors and things that crawl out of the mirror at night. ADVERSUS have produced an impressive video clip for the song 'Ein Ding im Spiegel' ('A thing in the mirror'), whose combination of real filmed sequences and 3D animations already gained a lot of attention since its presentation on video pages like Youtube. The CD and book bundle 'Der Zeit abhanden' is released by the cooperation of the Sonorium label and the Periplaneta Verlag (publishing company in Berlin). All music on 'Der Zeit abhanden' has been composed and recorded by Rosendorn in the band's project studio at Offenbach a.M., and was edited, mixed and mastered at TS-Musix studio at Zweibru¨cken by the Sonorium label owner Tommy Steuer, already known to the ADVERSUS fans as the guitar player on their first two albums.
